At The King’s Arms, we like to keep your week filled with flavour. Our themed evenings celebrate great local, seasonal produce with something new to enjoy each night. Mondays start with hearty burgers, Tuesdays are all about traditional fish suppers, and by midweek you can tuck into our much-loved homemade pies on Wednesday or a perfectly cooked steak on Thursday. Friday brings our popular Curry Night with aromatic dishes full of spice, while Saturdays are made for our relaxed Tapas Evening, ideal for sharing and settling into the weekend.
No matter which evening you visit, you’ll always find great food, a warm welcome and the relaxed country pub atmosphere we’re known for — from cosy nights by the fire in the winter to sunny afternoons in the garden when the weather turns warm.

Fixed Lunch Menu
Join us Monday to Friday from 12pm to 3pm for our fixed lunch menu. Enjoy a tasty nibble and one of our classic mains for just £17.95, or make it extra special with a glass of house wine for £19.95.
Daily Specials
Between 12pm and 3pm, Monday to Friday, we offer a seasonal daily special using some of the finest local produce — homemade dishes that showcase the finest flavours of winter.
Monday Burger Night
Every Monday evening is Burger Night at The King’s Arms. For £14.95, tuck into one of our mouthwatering burgers, all served in a potato seed bun with fries, crisp lettuce, beef tomato and red onion.
Choose from favourites like our King’s Arms burger with smoked cheddar and mustard mayo, the sweet potato and five bean vegan burger with red onion marmalade, or something a little different like our Korean BBQ fried chicken burger with kimchi.
Tuesday Fish Supper
Tuesdays are all about flavours from the sea. Tuck into our homemade fish pie topped with smoked cheddar mash, served with curry sauce, crushed peas and a soft bread roll for £16.95.
Or take advantage of 20% off our ever-popular fish and chips – crisp cider-battered cod with minted peas, chunky chips and tartare sauce. For something a little different, try our rainbow chalkstream trout with sour plum, confit fennel and a kick of pickled jalapeños.
Wednesday Pie Night
When the evenings draw in, there’s nothing more comforting than a proper homemade pie.
Each week our chefs cook up a changing selection – with a vegan option always on the menu – all served with creamy mash or golden chips, seasonal veg and plenty of rich, warming gravy, all for £14.95.
Thursday Steak Evening
As we head towards the end of the week, Thursday evenings are made for a little indulgence.
Enjoy two 8oz sirloin steaks, served with Café de Paris butter, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and chips, along with a bottle of house wine for £39.95. Add a dessert to finish, all for £45.95.
Friday Curry Night
Relax into the weekend with our Friday Curry Night. From £12.95, enjoy a choice of curries including korma, jalfrezi and Thai green, all served with delicious sides. With vegetarian options too, it’s the perfect way to relax on a Friday evening.
Saturday Tapas Evening
Saturdays are all about sharing good food with friends and family. Enjoy a laid-back evening of delicious tapas – 4 dishes for £18.95 – with plenty of tempting options to choose from, including vegetarian and vegan favourites.
